Enjoy the Sizzling Sensations as area chefs, rib competitors, dieticians, media personalities and food columnists share their  culinary creations from appetizers, summer salads, BBQ fare to desserts.  Learn the secrets to the best ribs in the Midwest! Entry into the tent is absolutely FREE!  Want to try the food?  Get a Lottery Ticket at the tent entrance and get the chance to try one of the tasty dishes. 

Looking for something fun for the kids?  They will love eating their creations – from edible play dough to dessert pizzas!  All children will be able to sample their own homemade “kiddy cuisine”! 

 Barefoot Wine tasting samples will also be offered to compliment the fare when appropriate. Plus…. entertainment you can taste, where singing chefs will prove the entertainment is as hot as the Thai spring rolls! 

Lottery Ticket Winners

Bay Arenac ISD Career Center’s Culinary Arts students will be selling tickets for $2.  Winning tickets will be drawn for each separate demonstration; if your ticket is drawn you will be given the chance to sample the dish and maybe even help prepare the meal!

4:15 p.m. Chef Andy Baciagalupo - Thai Fresh Rolls
Roasted Pork and Shrimp with fresh cilantro, crisp romaine lettuce with Asian Noodles wrapped in rice sheets served with a trio of sauces: *Thai Peanut Sauce *Spicy Orange Sauce *Katsu Sauce with Sesame Seeds & Green onions.
5:15 p.m. Aussom Aussie’s scintillating version of “Grilled Shrimp on the Barbie” with tips and tricks on how to always have the best shrimp each time you grill - plus The Aussie's spectacular Beef Brisket!
6:15 p.m. Lumber Jack Chef Jeremy Bleshenski's Bourbon Chicken
Fresh Ginger and garlic are key ingredients to this
delicious and unique dish!

12:15 p.m. Ann Hoffman, RD, CDE Covenant Health Care - Healthy
Cooking featuring White Beans with tomato, basil & parmesan complemented with a Sunshine Carrot-Raisin Salad!
1:15 p.m. John Zehnder - Sweet Thai Dragon Wings This is Barbecue Asian Style. Chicken Wings marinated in dark beer with sweet chili sauce, cilantro, cinnamon & brown sugar.
Plus "Omelets 101" An exciting and creative way to look at omelet making using non-traditional ingredients. Impress your friends with flaming omelets, fresh fruit & cream cheese omelets and unique Japanese style omelets!
2:15 p.m. Johnny Burke - WHNN Sweet Potato Fries
One of Mid-Michigan's favorite Morning personalities
demonstrates how to make delicious Sweet Potato Fries, a dish that will delight your senses with every bite!
3:15 p.m. Checkered Pig - Tommy Houston
"Southern Boy" serves up America's leanest Pork BBQ - Southern Virginia Ham with it's own unique sauce.
4:15 p.m. Meats N' MOOOre - Chef Craig Owczarzak offers his
special meat market creations! Start off with Jalapeńo
and Habanera Stuffed poppers….filled with cream cheese, wrapped in bacon and grilled to perfection!
Next Craig's "Sausage Sensations" assortment features' their own homemade Jambalaya, Granny Smith Apple, Sweet & Spicy and Psycho Habanera sausages!
5:15 p.m. Mountain Town Station - Jim Holton
Start with "Scotch Eggs" (hard boiled eggs wrapped in spicy pork sausage), along with Mountain Town Salad, Mixed greens julienne granny smith apples, dried cherries and chopped walnuts tossed in maple vinaigrette dressing, plus their very own Coconut Shrimp!
6:15 p.m. Mark & Lisa Torregrossa - "Queen Lisa's Famous Garden Salsa" NBC 25 Meteorologist & Wife Lisa prepare this "totally" fresh salsa from only the freshest  tomatoes, vegetables and herbs!  Mark gives Lisa all the credit on this one!

winning ribs" at home!
1:15 p.m. Shari Steinbach, MS RD, Meijer Healthy Living Advisor Quick and Healthy Summer Meal. A mouth watering southwest chicken taco salad complimented by fresh strawberry lemonade.
2:15 p.m. Art Lewis "WSGW" Cookin with the Mrs." Host Chinese BBQ Pork Fried Rice.
Experience the flavors of the Orient as Art prepares his unique recipe featuring bead molasses.
3:15 p.m. Bavarian Inn Chef - Mark Handy

topped with Beef Brisket tossed with Bacon and

12:15 p.m. Chef Andy Baciagalupo Kids Cookie Pizza Decorating. Make your own cookie look like a pizza, spread creamy red icing for sauce and decorate with toppings of your choice.

Taste the BBQ flavors form this award winning Rib Competitor.
2:15 p.m. Dixie Dave Minar - Wild Boar Ribs
Take a walk on the wild side with Outdoor Magazine's Dixie Dave! He will prepare Wild Boar Ribs using a hand crafted beer in his BBQ sauce from Lumber Barons Brew Pub.
3:15 p.m. Pati LaLonde - Bay City Times
"Sumptuous Summer Salad" Grilled Banana Boat
Non-alcoholic Lemon Pomegranate Juice
4:15 p.m. Chef Harry Dominowski -Lumber Barons
