RUMOURS HAVE A LONG HISTORY OF ENTERTAINING AUDIENCES FROM ALL
OVER CANADA AND THE UNITED STATES OF AMERICA. THEY ARE THE ORIGINAL,
MOST SUCCESSFUL AND LONGEST RUNNING TRIBUTE TO FLEETWOOD MAC AND
STEVIE NICKS IN CANADA!
Mic Chandler (www.nicksfix.com), a gifted photographer who has
photographed many famous musicians and stars including the lovely
Stevie Nicks, has also photographed Mary-Ann along with the Rumours
band. He endorses Mary-Ann and Rumours through his word, ongoing
support and friendship.
Rumours has had the honor and privilege to perform at countless
numbers of festivals, theatres, casinos, charitable fundraisers,
corporate events, clubs and have shared the stage with such wonderful
performers as: Richard Marx, Pat Benetar, KC & The Sunshine
Band, The Village People, April Wine, Taylor Dane, B.J. Thomas,
Eddy Money, Firefall, America, BTO, Gary Puckett, and the list
continues
Rumours originally formed in the late 80's as a very popular
Stevie Nicks Tribute called, Edge of 17, as years passed, they
added music from Fleetwood Mac and changed their name to Rumours
of Nicks. Mary-Ann Kellie, the original founder and lead singer
retired after having children, but after a constant barrage of
phone calls to book the show, with the support of agents and friends,
came back with the original drummer and husband Gordie, put the
show back together and called it Rumours.
Now at Rumours' tenth anniversary, the band has grown into an
even more streamlined marriage of Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks.
The band has been expanded to a six piece in order to reproduce
the full live sound expected.
Buyers and promoters have gotten to know the band as a professional,
polite and very caring band who always listens to what the agents
and buyers needs are and tries to fulfill those needs as best
as possible. They are punctual, responsible and never demanding.
Rumours approach each show with total commitment and newness,
bringing to their audience a truly live show, instead of a live
scripted one. They enjoy connecting with their audiences of all
ages.
Through costume and gesture, Rumours recreates the experience
of Fleetwood Mac and Stevie Nicks and their drummer, Gordie, even
includes a walking drum solo which emulates Mic Fleetwood's overpowering
style and personality.

a Fleetwood Mac/Stevie Nicks Tribute band, you've got to get the
original tribute Rumours - it may sound funny but makes sense.

off as Rumours.)
